1 Month of Piyo in the Books!

Hey guys! So as many of you know, I joined the Beachbody team last month and have officially completed my first month of my workout program- piyo.  I thought it'd be a cool way to document my success with the program by writing about it on my blog!  So here is my one month progress picture! -


Just a quick overview of piyo: piyo is a low impact program designed to Chisle and define your muscles.  It's a no jumping,  controlled,  strength building and training program. 

Some things I've learned during this month-
1. Do not underestimate the power of control.  - I know this might sound silly,  but I used to think that in order to lose weight quick and efficiently,  I need to be jumping around like crazy.  Totally not the case!  

2. Triceps push-ups are quite possibly the hardest thing ever.  Like ever. (Taylor Swift voice)  

3. Chalene Johnson knows how to kick your butt.  Obviously^ Haha!  

I have absolutely loved piyo so far and can't wait to jump into my second month!  It's been so amazing seeing my body change.  I can also totally feel the strength in my core.  I'm able to bend over and touch my toes without even thinking about it.  The flexibility I've built is crazy!  I can't even believe how good I'm feeling.  Piyo is totally the workout program to do if you're looking to shred your body!  I love it so much! 

Oh and in case you were wondering- I lost another 4 inches off my waist &  another 7 pounds!
